The Hurt Locker (A- 2nd Viewing)
The best Iraq War film yet. Great performances, tense action and almost pitch-perfect direction.
Up (A-)
Had me blubbering like a little girl. Not as rewatchable as previous Pixar efforts, but still moving. A perfect example of great voice acting.
Inglourious Basterds (B+)
A little long-winded, but a blast to watch. Christoph Waltz steals the show, while Tarantino again fails to dissappoint.
(500) Days of Summer (B+)
Two great performances by the leads and a great date movie. A romantic comedy that strives for originality over box-office allure.
G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra (D-)
One God-awful steaming pile of crap. Good thing Sienna Miller was there or I would have gouged out my eyes.
Basic Instinct (B-/C+)
Yeah, Sharon Stone was hot, but my God...talk about the most dated movie of the past 20 years. Just look at that awful club scene. Unitentional comedy at it's best.
